A Private Wedding Celebration

A wedding holds a rare kind of presence - shaped by intention, emotion, and the gathering of those closest to us. This project started with that spirit: an exploration of how painting might exist within a moment of celebration, and extend beyond it.

For our private wedding celebration in the Dordogne, I created a bespoke cloudscape capturing the essence of our wedding venue. This signature piece became a shared experience for our guests and us, carrying the memory of the day into the years ahead.

Alongside it, I painted a series of petite cloudscapes, personalized for each guest, forming a quiet gesture of recognition and gratitude. Each guest found their seat through a little cloud, one of many painted canvases that together form a larger sky. While each little painting stands beautifully on its own, it's when they come together that they create something truly whole and connected. This collection reflects how, though we all move through our own skies, life becomes most beautiful when our paths intersect.

This project reflects an ongoing interest in creating work that moves between the intimate and the enduring - where a single moment can be translated into something lasting, and deeply personal.
